Allergology & Immunology

The Allergology and Immunology Section under the Department of Medicine specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of allergies and immune system disorders. Services include skin testing for allergies, and treatment of asthma, autoimmune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis as well as runny nose, sneezing, and skin rashes.

Anesthesiology

The Anesthesiology Department provides anesthesia and pain management in surgery and specialized procedures provided by Obstetrics and Gynecology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Interventional Radiology, Oncology, Dental Surgery and Psychiatry. Consultant staff work closely with the Pain Management Services unit.

Dental Medicine

Dental Medicine addresses concerns in general, cosmetic, specialist and emergency dental care.  A team of dental specialists work with your Attending Physician to deliver a range of services from comprehensive dental examinations, prophylaxis, restorations, prosthetics, orthodontics, maxillofacial surgery, root canal, periodontics (gum and bone), dental implants, TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders, dental X-Rays and CT scans.

Rheumatology

Rheumatology is a specialty that deals with the diagnosis and medical management of diseases that affect the bones, muscles, joints, connective tissues, and other soft tissues of the musculoskeletal system. These include gout, osteoarthritis, tendinitis, osteoporosis, and other related conditions. Aside from these, rheumatologists also manage disorders of autoimmunity such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, myositis, scleroderma, and other systemic inflammatory diseases.
