Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to all patient populations diagnosed with neurologic and musculoskeletal injuries. These include stroke, movement disorders, spinal cord injuries and sports injuries, among others. Pediatric rehabilitation is also offered for those with behavioral disorders and developmental delays.
Patients are evaluated by board-certified PMR physicians who prescribe programs and exercises aimed at helping patients recover from such injuries and disabilities.
Services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Home-based physical therapy is likewise offered for those who prefer to have these services in the comfort and convenience of their home, or any venue outside the hospital.
