Kathleen H. Baldivia, MD & Victor K. Gozali, MD
The Philippine Breast Cancer Society (PBCS) has elected two Makati Medical Center doctors as its top officials. Victor K. Gozali, MD, Co-Director of the MakatiMed Cancer Center, and Kathleen H. Baldivia, MD, of the Radiology Department, were elected President and Vice-President, respectively.
Dr. Gozali and Dr. Baldivia were unanimously elected by the PBCS Board of Directors in its executive meeting on January 3.
The PBCS is a multi-specialty medical organization that deals only in breast cancer issues, covering the preventive aspect, genetic aspect, treatment strategy, advocacy, and survivorship. Members are from different medical specialties with the interest in breast cancer, namely surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, pathologists, breast radiologists, and palliative care specialists.
