The Pulmonary Laboratory, managed by the Section of Pulmonary Medicine of the Department of Medicine, provides exceptional care to patients with lung diseases and respiratory problems. The section actively applies medical research updates and state-of-the-art technology to help patients breathe better.
The laboratory offers diagnostic and therapeutic services including arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry, computerized pulmonary function tests, 6-minute walk test, sputum induction, nebulization therapy, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation and weaning maneuvers. The in-house staff is composed of highly qualified respiratory therapists and medical technologists.
