Nurses play an integral role in the care, treatment and the holistic healing process of patients. MakatiMed nurses are chosen from the best candidates of schools with outstanding and proven track records, and are trained further to provide patients with the best and most compassionate treatment possible.
The Division has three sections, representing the scope of MakatiMed nurses’ skills and specializations.
MakatiMed’s nursing team takes pride in its empowered culture. In 2014, MakatiMed launched the Competency Assessment and Relational Enhancement Program (CARE), under the Transformational Professional Practice Model Educational Curriculum, the first of its kind in the Philippines.
The CARE program is divided into three stages, namely: CARE Orientation, a six-week pre-employment program; Nurse Residency Program-Phase 1 during the first to sixth month of employment; and the Nurse Residency Program-Phase 2, during the seventh to 12th month. These programs offer opportunities for nurses to learn, to thrive and to lead in excellence through today’s dynamic healthcare environment. Moreover, it provides nurses with an intensive education, inclusive of intensive clinical learning-discussion, research-capability sessions and actual immersions.
The interactive workshops, robust programs and strong academic partnerships promote clinical advancement and excellent patient care outcomes.
