On November 17, Tacloban Doctors Medical Center representatives visited MakatiMed to introduce their new Hospital Administrator, Genelyn Herrera, MD. The SHAP team took them on a quick tour in the areas which they wanted to see: the Kidney Unit, the Intensive Care Unit and the Nuclear Medicine Department. They were impressed by the hospital facilities and took photos ofthe Nuclear Medicine equipment.
On Nov. 19, Davao Doctors Hospital, with representatives from their Human Resources, Admitting, Customer Care, and Medical Records departments visited MakatiMed as part of their benchmarking activity. Davao Doctors was interested in MakatiMed’s Admission and Medical Records processes. Marielle Mendoza, AVP, Inpatient Service Operation; Maritess Colorado, Head of Admission; and Maricon Silva, OIC Department Head of Medical Records, prepared a short presentation in the morning to discuss their processes. The hospital tour commenced in the afternoon.
