Makati Medical Center has already started its countdown for the golden anniversary of the institution with the unveiling of the 50th Year icon on August 8, 2018 held at the main lobby.
The hospital, known to provide world-class healthcare services anchored in the malasakit tradition, is entering its five-decade mark on May 31, 2019.
Both clinical and corporate staff members from various departments gathered to witness the symbolic unveiling of the icon which signifies the kickoff for the 50th year anniversary celebrations. Johnny B. Sinon, MD, Medical Director, said in his welcome remarks that MakatiMed as a Hospital with a Heart has lasted through the years with the services rendered by the staff, starting from the late founders: Constantino P. Manahan, MD, Jose Y. Fores, MD, and Mariano M. Alimurung, MD.
Also present in the ceremony was President & CEO Ma. Corazon C. Consunji, MD who helped Dr. Sinon unveil MakatiMed’s 50th Anniversary icon. They led the rite of affixing their signatures on the anniversary icon panel, followed by the doctors and staff present during the ceremony.
