Makati Medical Center (MakatiMed) officially inaugurated the MakatiMed WellnessHub at the 7th Floor of Ayala North Exchange Tower 1, expanding its signature brand of care beyond the hospital into a dedicated, patient-centered wellness space.
Designed as a one-stop shop for health, the MakatiMed WellnessHub brings together executive health check-ups, primary care, diagnostics and imaging, and mental wellness services in one convenient location, allowing patients to access comprehensive care seamlessly while experiencing the same level of excellence, expertise, and malasakit that the Hospital is known for.
Medical Director and Interim Co-President & CEO Saturnino P. Javier, MD emphasized that the facility is envisioned to set a new benchmark in care, describing it as “a model of wellness care… that people will talk about; something that is unparalleled in terms of the speed and the compassion with which patients are cared for.”
For Ryan Raymond Y. Bautista, MD, Head of the MakatiMed Wellness Hub, the initiative represents a shift in how healthcare is experienced. He shared that what the team has built is “a one-stop destination for health… all within one coordinated system of care,” adding that the WellnessHub goes beyond diagnostics, as “health is about the whole person—their body, their mind, their lifestyle, and overall well-being.”
The MakatiMed Wellness Hub offers a comprehensive range of services, including heart care such as ECG, 2D echocardiography, and treadmill stress testing; breast care with sonography and mammography; bone densitometry; as well as imaging services such as X-ray, ultrasound, and Fibroscan. It also provides mental health services from a team of psychologists and psychiatrists, medical consultations, vaccinations, and routine laboratory testing. Through the MakatiMed Wellness Hub, Makati Medical Center continues to bring its trusted standard of care closer to the community, making preventive and holistic healthcare more accessible to all.
