MakatiMed issues Visitor, Companion ID Passes

Visitors and companions of patients should now secure their ID pass when visiting Makati Medical Center after the hospital announced the implementation of the new policy. Aimed to manage the volume of patients and guests in the hospital facilities, the ID passes were updated for increased security and safety monitoring and to alert security and elevator personnel of unnecessary and inappropriate people traffic.

Who can claim	Patient’s companion who stays with the patient in the room beyond allowable hours. Only one (1) pass is issued.	Patient’s visitor who come within the allowable visiting hours. Only one (1) pass is issued.	COVID Area: ONLY for companion of patients who belong to the following population: pediatric, geriatric, PWD, special needs PREPCU: Only one (1) companion pass is issued

Returning the ID Pass	Companion returns the ID Pass to the Nurses Station on discharge day	Visitors to retrieve their deposited government-issued ID in exchange for the Visitor’s ID	Companion returns the ID Pass to the Nurses Station on discharge day
