Makati Medical Center received a certificate of appreciation from Greenpeace Philippines on January 29, for the hospital’s “unwavering support for the environment that made the company a beacon of hope for millions of people around the world.”
Greenpeace, an independent organization with presence in 41 countries and 2.8 million supporters worldwide, aims to give priority to campaigns that can be addressed by a global scale.
The organization uses campaigns as a non-violent, creative confrontation to address global environmental problems.
