In a significant move set to reshape the landscape of mental health services in the metropolitan area, MakatiMed Wellness Center and Argao Psych signed a Memorandum of Agreement last March 1, for the formalization of their strategic partnership.
To seal the collaboration, the Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Renz Christian C. Argao, Ph.D., President and CEO of Argao Psych, along with the MakatiMed Interim Co-President and CEOs – Medical Director Saturnino P. Javier, MD and Chief Finance Officer, Arnold C. Ocampo.
Under the agreement, Argao Psych’s services such as Fit-to-Work/Fit-to-Study Assessment, Mental Ability Testing, and Counselling Sessions for couples, families, and children, among others, are added to the current roster of the Center.
Moreover, the partnership between Argao Psych and Makati Med Wellness Center extends beyond a mere agreement. It represents a comprehensive response to the community’s growing need for basic and extended psychological services, especially in light of the post-COVID-19 pandemic phases. The collaboration ensures that essential psychological services are easily available and accessible to patients.
The MOA signing ceremony marks a significant step forward in addressing the growing and evolving needs of the community and signifies a broader shift towards a more inclusive and resilient healthcare ecosystem.
