Makati Medical Center’s Integrative Palliative and Home Care Unit (IPHCU) and the Cancer Center partnered with Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network (APHN) to host a webinar series on January 24, 2019
Featured in the online event was Naveen Salins, MD from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal who talked on “Management of Delirium”.
The goal of the quarterly webinar is to promote services of MakatiMed and to enhance the multidisciplinary approach to palliative care patients.
This is the second year that MakatiMed hosts the webinar series.
The webinar was attended by more than 30 participants from various departments such as the Nursing & Patient Care Services Division (NPCSD) and the Section of Neurology, as well as guests from other institutions.
The next webinar is on March 11, 2019 which will discuss “Palliative Care Assessment.”
