Companies and hospitals under MPIC participate in the fundraising fun run.
In celebration of the birthday of Mr. Manny V. Pangilinan, Chairman of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), the company organized a fundraising fun run titled “MVP Superhero Run” on July 20, 2019 at the Meralco Compound, Pasig City. The proceeds of the activity went to the Tulong Kapatid projects.
Makati Medical Center was represented by 30 employees from various departments and friends from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to participate in the activity that was spearheaded by MPIC, MVP Sports Foundation, One Meralco Foundation, and PLDT-Smart Foundation.
Mr. Pangilinan graced the event and accompanied Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso in awarding the top three (3) finishers for the 5K, 2.5K, and 1K races, as well as the winners of the best superhero costumes.
Raffle prizes were also given out to the participant. The prizes include one-year subscription to Cignal TV, mobile phones, and trip to Bangkok, Thailand, and Cebu among others.
