More than 60 employees got their glucose checked during the Glucose Screening conducted on February 22, 2019 by the Employee Health & Wellness Clinic (EHWC), headed by Rosemarie B. Cabujat, MD.
The free glucose screening is a service annually offered by the EHWC to detect the risk of overt diabetes among the employees of Makati Medical Center.
An EHWC physician was available to interpret the result and provide recommendations to the employees.
The activity aims to increase awareness on diabetes through self-monitoring of blood sugar level.
