Our Colorectal Surgeons have completed advanced training in the treatment of colon and rectal diseases and conditions. MakatiMed Colorectal Surgeons have vast experience with excellent results in treating benign and malignant diseases of the colon and rectum such as total mesorectal excision (TME) for rectal cancer, complex fistula in ano cases, rectal prolapse, bowel incontinence, and sphincter-saving procedures. This section is now equipped with the latest Transanal Hemorrhoidal Dearterialization (THD) machine for quick recovery and painless treatment of prolapsing and/or bleeding haemorrhoid.

Ear, Nose, Throat – Head & Neck (ENT-HNS) Surgery

This section of medicine encompasses a variety of subspecialties namely, Otology (ear), Rhinology (nose), Laryngology (voice, phonation and upper airway), Bronchoesophagology (airway) and swallowing, MaxilloFacial Surgery (facial fractures), Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (facial defects) and Head and Neck Surgery (cancer of the head and neck).

Our HPB surgeons have been in the forefront of aggressive yet safe liver surgeries in the country.

This section has a vast experience in various onerous procedures such as extended and limited liver resections (both open & laparoscopic) for benign and malignant conditions of the liver, biliary & vascular reconstructions for biliary tract cancers, choledochal cysts, biliary strictures. Likewise, advanced pancreatic resections such as Whipple’s procedure for pancreatic cancer, and laparoscopic splenectomies for some hematologic indications are some of the other challenging procedures that this section can offer.
