The Center for Tropical and Travel Medicine (CTTM) provides a multidisciplinary approach in the management of persons with travel-related infectious diseases such as malaria, and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
Makati Medical Center, through CTTM, was the first private hospital designated by the Department of Health (DOH) as an HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) Treatment Hub to provide access to effective antiretroviral (ARV) drugs to all HIV-infected individuals. CTTM has since been providing services and programs with the DOH.
CTTM caters to the general patient population, as well as tourists visiting the Philippines opting to avail themselves of prophylactic anti-malarial medications, and vaccines for various travel-related infectious diseases.
