The Enteral Nutrition Dietitian provides dietetic services to in-patients through nutritional management of enteral feeding for all identified nutritionally-at-risk individuals. He/She computes the tube feeding prescriptions ordered by the physician and the corresponding additional cost, as necessary, for in-patients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
1. Evaluates, interprets, and documents tube feeding computation using standards of care
and practice guidelines.
2. Implements, adjusts as needed, and computes tube feeding prescriptions based
physician’s orders.
3. Supervises the monthly and annual inventories of enteral stocks and supplies.
Minimum Educational Attainment: Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian
Work Experience: At least one (1) year of experience as a Nutritionist-Dietitian in a hospital
