The Certified Lymphedema Therapist performs Manual Lymphatic Drainage-Complete Decongestive Therapy (MLD-CDT) and intermittent pneumatic compression procedures. He/She creates and implements a treatment plan specific to a patient and monitors and documents each patient’s progress throughout the therapy.
Duties & responsibilities include (but not limited to):
1. Patient care from performing procedures and monitoring to charting and patient education
2. Quality improvement and patient safety such as updating patient’s progress to concerned, attending lectures and workshops
