Job Summary

The Blood Bank Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe and quality patient care to patients under the supervision of the Unit Manager of the Blood Bank & Transfusion Services Unit. 

 

His/Her duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  1. Providing a safe, pleasant, and convenient environment for blood donors
  2. Screening blood donors by conducting medical history interview and getting vital signs
  3. Providing pre-donation, post-donation are and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Attainment: BS Nursing grad with active Professional License/Registered Nurse

Work Experience: At least six (6) months of experience as a Nurse
