System Support Officer


The Systems Support Officer is responsible for monitoring and reporting systems risks and enhancements. He/she handles the hospital's systems-related improvements review and cut-over implementation. He/she coordinates with other departments and divisions with regards to Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Sharepoint initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilites (include but not limited to):

  • Serves as the resource person for any system enhancements which affects hospital processes and systems such as, but not limited to, Electronic Medical Records and Sharepoint
  • Assists in the implementation of systems migration in all units through business requirements gathering, process mapping, forms creation, pre-production activities, user acceptance testing and modular trainings.
  • Recommends systems enhancements for process improvements by consistenly collaboratng with end users to identify the business requirements
  • Provides analysis and documentation of new systems or significant system enhancements as a result of process improvement
  • Conducts continuous training for all hospital units on new and enhanced products and services.
  • Monitors compliance to all departmental and hospital policies, especially systems-related policies
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of any Business, Engineering, or Allied Medical Course.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in hospital operations and/or administration, with a background in systems implementation and testing, gathering of business requirements and process analysis.
