Sterilization Processing Staff

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Receives instruments for decontamination and packaging from different units/departments.
- Decontaminates and packs instruments and equipment and their accessories according to manufacturer's instructions and in compliance with hospital standards.
- Performs function testing of instruments prior to packaging and sterilization.
- Inventories surgical instruments using the hospital's barcoding system.


- Graduate of any two (2) year / or four (4) year healthcare-related course (if a graduate of BS Nursing, must not be licensed.) / Sterilization Processing Course is an advantage.
- Must be willing to be trained, alert, flexible and can work in a fast paced environment
