Patient Experience Officer

The Patient Experience Officer works with patients and their families to immediately address their needs, concerns, and/or commendations that may arise during the course of their treatment in the hospital, ensuring that they receive the highest level of satisfaction while in the hospital.

Duties & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

1. Acts as the hospital's champion to promote a culture of service excellence to deliver an exemplary patient, family, and/or visitor experience that positively impacts outcomes.
2. Conducts non-clinical rounds and may assist in clinical rounds as prescribed by the Department Manager, Patient Relations or as directed by the program created.
3. Proactively responds to issues and/or concerns of patients and their families. Coordinates and communicates these identified issues and/or concerns with the appropriate units/departments with immediate resolution as the main goal.

Key Qualifications:

Minimum Educational Attainment: Graduate of any healthcare-related course
Work Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in frontline services in patient experience and/or the healthcare industry
Skills: Customer Service, Project Management, Analytical, Organization, Interpersonal, Creative & Strategic Thinking
