License & Policy Officer

Job Summary:

The License & Policy Officer monitors hospital plans, programs, policies, and ensures that procedures are updated, compliant, and consistent with regulatory and accreditation standards. He/she also monitors hospital licenses and accreditation and its timely renewal.

Duties & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  1. Reviews and revises hospital plans, programs, policies and procedures in collaboration with departments and units (as applicable) according to regulatory and accreditation standards [e.g., Department of Health (DOH), PhilHealth, Joint Commission International (JCI), among others].
  2. Participates in the cascade of new and revised hospital plans, programs, policies, and procedures to departments and units.
  3. Validates information received from concerned departments for accurate and timely submission of required documents and applications to regulatory and accreditation bodies.

Minimum Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s Degree in any allied medical profession
Work Experience: At least eight (8) years of experience in the clinical field and/or in a quality assurance- related position
