Clinical Safety & Risk Management Officer

Job Summary:

The Clinical Safety and Risk Management Officer is responsible for assisting the implementation of the hospital wide identification, collection and analysis of safety related information. He/She collaborates with the departments to identify risks and manage risks accordingly, and to develop measures for the delivery of high quality care.

Duties & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  1. Collates and analyzes safety related incidents (near miss, adverse or sentinel events) data from hospital departments for risk identification, analyses, risk management and data presentation.
  2. Identifies and investigates safety issues through environmental rounds and document review.
  3. Leads root-casuse analysis (RCA) and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) for multidisciplinary safety incidents.


  • Minimum Educational Attainment: Bachelor's degree in paramedical courses
  • Work Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experiences in a health care institution and two (2) years of experience in Quality System, preferable with knowledge of internation and best practices in Clinical and Facility Safety and Risk Management, elementary statistics, sampling theory, error analysis techniques and project management
  • Skills: Administrative, Organization, Project Management, Computer, Oral & Written Communication
