The procedure entails exposing a part of your body to high-frequency sound waves to produce internal pictures. Images are captured in real time showing the structure and movement of your body’s internal organs as well as blood flowing through the blood vessels. MakatiMed was the first in the country to introduce diagnostic ultrasound in 1973.
  • Equipment: State-of-the-art ultrasound imaging, computers to convert Doppler measurements into an array of colors to visualize the speed and direction of blood flow through the blood vessels
