The Optimal Aging Center of MakatiMed helps patients age gracefully and successfully by focusing on the following needs of adults who are above 60 years old:

Our team is composed of physicians, nurses, nutritionists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. Our physicians are specialists in geriatrics, cardiology, geriatric psychiatry, ophthalmology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Comprehensive geriatric assessment consisting of:
- Comprehensive history-taking and physical examination
- Review of medications

Adult Activity Center where activities for older adults are geared toward fostering socialization, providing mental and social stimulation, and enhancing physical strength and stamina. We provide support and health classes to their families and caregivers.

Immunization for older adults

Counseling on nutrition for older adults

Alternative treatments (Acupuncture)

Geriatric Executive Check-up packages, including diagnostic examinations focused on early detection and monitoring of various illnesses of older adults

Prescription for medications of senior citizens

Referrals to interdisciplinary specialists, diagnostic centers, and other Centers of Excellence of MakatiMed, if deemed necessary
