Preparations and Procedures
Some of the common procedures during executive health check-ups are as follows:

Blood Chemistry Testing identifies the numerous chemical substances found in your blood.Preparation: No food intake for 12 to 14 hours before the test.

Ultrasound of liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and kidneys to determine any abnormalities or conditions.Preparation: No food intake for six to eight hours before the test.

Stress Echocardiogram detects decreased blood supply to your heart muscles during episodes of stress, as well as abnormalities in your heart and blood pressure.Preparation:

Two hours of fasting before the test

Avoid stimulants like coffee, tea, cigarettes, and alcoholic beverages

Avoid strenuous physical exercise or sports before the day of the test

Wear comfortable clothes, shorts or jogging pants and rubber-soled shoes. For female patients, wear brassieres and blouses with buttons in front

Upper Gastrointestinal Series is a radiographic examination of your esophagus, stomach, and small intestine using barium sulfate as the contrast material. Examination takes 5 to 10 minutes. If done after Barium Enema, no other preparation is needed.:Preparation:
- Light dinner the night before
- No food or liquid intake after midnight
- Take a Bisacodyl suppository in the morning

Barium Enema is a combined fluoroscopic-radiographic procedure to visualize the large intestine. A contrast material is introduced to the anus under fluoroscopic guidance. The procedure takes 10 to 15 minutes but may vary depending on your condition.Preparation:

No intake of fruits, vegetables, and meat at night prior to the examination

Take two tablets of Bisacodyl before bedtime

No food or liquid intake after midnight

Be ready for cleansing enema early morning prior to your scheduled time of examination

Thyroid Function Tests are blood tests that evaluate how effectively your thyroid gland is working. This helps diagnose an underactive thyroid, evaluate thyroid gland activity, and monitor response to thyroid therapy.

Routine Urinalysis examines the different components of urine to gain information about your health and any possible conditions you may have.

Pap Smear is a medical procedure in which a sample of cells from a woman’s cervix is collected and spread on a microscope slide. It is a simple, quick, and relatively painless screening test. The cells are examined under a microscope to look for pre-malignant or malignant changes.

Prostate Ultrasound obtains a baseline study of prostate size, shape, and architecture, as well as screening for possible prostate cancer.
