Ophthalmology is the branch of medicine that deals with care and treatment of the eye. The condition an ophthalmologist addresses ranges from diagnosing eye illnesses to surgical treatment of all eye ailments.
Carlos L. Sevilla, M.D., one of the founding fathers of MakatiMed, was likewise the founder of the Department of Ophthalmology. He earned through his contributions the title “Giver of Sight.”
