Equipment
- Reclining lazy-boy chairs in the regular stations and bed stations for patients with special needs
- Solo private room Hemodialysis stations upon request
- Personal TV with cable TV services, a blanket and pillow for each Hemodialysis station
- Oxygen and suction machine outlets
- IV infusion pumps with easy access to the hospital pharmacy and blood bank
- Prepared meals from the hospital and microwave oven for packed meals
Scheduling a Hemodialysis Session
- Visit us at the Kidney Unit, 1/F, Tower 2, call us at +632 8888 999 locals 3107/3108, or e-mail us at Kidney.unit@makatimed.net.ph
- We facilitate requests for dialysis up to 5 pm; otherwise, you may proceed to the Emergency Department for emergency treatment, as needed.
- If you are receiving treatment from another hospital, inform your primary nephrologist then call our Kidney Unit where our nurse managers will assist you in facilitating your transfer.
- Any requested change in schedule is subject to the approval of your attending nephrologist and by the Kidney Unit nurse manager, as well as the availability of equipment. We can accommodate 12–14 patients at a time.
Schedule for Hemodialysis Sessions
- Note: Monday–Wednesday and Friday–Saturday, only 4-5 patients per batch
- Emergency Hemodialysis can be conducted at the ICU after business hours.
