MakatiMed Radiology residents win 1st place Wednesday, 09-Mar-2011, 8:55AM
MakatiMed Radiology residents won 1st place at the recently held Battle of the Brains, sponsored by the Philippine College of Radiology-Residents Training Council. Other participants to this annual competition included the Philippine General Hospital, St. Luke’s Medical Center, The Medical City and National Kidney Transplant Institute.
Led by Training Officer Jackson Dy, MD (seated), the MakatiMed team was composed of (from left) Jazel Anne Agnes, MD; Ma. Carmina Nievera, MD; Mia Villanueva Tad-y, MD and Sthennette Jerusalem, MD. The victory marks the 2nd time in three years where MakatiMed has bested 24 other hospitals nationwide. It also comes in the heels of a 100% passing rate in the last few years by radiology residents at the Philippine Board of Radiology exams proving once again that the MakatiMed radiology residency program is the best in the country.
