Pastoral Care
We at Makati Med recognize that you and your family have special spiritual needs, especially in times of illness. You may feel a need for counseling and more emotional support. Should you require a priest or any other pastoral service, please feel free to request for this through your duty nurse, or kindly contact: LOCAL 8134 / 8135.
Mass is celebrated at 7:30am, 12noon and 4pm at the 9th floor, at the chapel or at the Ledesma Hall. Holy Communion is distributed daily after the 4pm mass. Please inform Pastoral Services should you wish to receive Holy Communion. We also provide the following services upon request:
- Confessions
- Emergency Baptism
- Sacrament of the Sick
- Patient’s visitation
- Counseling
Our chaplains are Roman Catholic priests, who are assisted by nuns and laypersons when they minister to you, our patients, your relatives and guests. You can also request a priest to minister the Sacraments to you or your kin, to visit, or to counsel you.
Should you request, Makati Med also goes out of its way to contact ministers of other faiths.
