Medical Education Department

Dietary Services
Food is a vital part of your treatment and healing, and we recognize this. At Makati Med, a team of registered clinical nutritionist-dieticians works closely with your doctors and nurses to ensure that you are put under a food program that is appropriate for your nutritional needs and medical condition.
Medical Records
The importance of creating and keeping a systematic record of your medical history and care cannot be underestimated. This is exactly where our Medical Records department comes in. At Makati Med, we are in the process of moving our medical records into a more systematic and safe electronic system. Having this new system in place will speed up retrieval of your records each time you visit our hospital or any of our doctors.
Pharmacists & Pharmacy Services
A hospital clinical pharmacist is a vital member of the health care team. He or she is a drug expert who routinely interacts with your team of doctors and nurses to ensure that you receive safe and effective prescription medicines.
Our pharmacists implement important measures and time proven interventions that minimize and eliminate any adverse drug events. They are responsible for the quality, safety, purity and efficacy of all medications that will be administered to you. For your protection, all medications are dispensed only by the MMC Pharmacy.
Makati Med’s inpatient pharmacy is open 24 hours a day. The outpatient pharmacy is open everyday from 6am to 9pm. For any concerns about your medication needs, you may contact Pharmacy Services Department at LOCAL 2941 / 2944.
