To get to Makati Medical Center from the Ninoy International Airport, the shortest route is to exit the airport on the NAIA III, then turn left on South Superhighway. From South Superhighway, turn right to get into the Skyway, drive straight and past Pasong Tamo or Don Chino Roces Ave., and turn left on Amorsolo, the street on which Makati Med stands.
You have to go past one intersection on the right (APMC Street), one on the left (V.A. Rufino Street), to get to the next intersection (Dela Rosa Street), where you will be facing the hospital itself. Drive across the Dela Rosa intersection to the hospital’s basement parking entrance, which is found on Export Drive.
Alternatively, you can turn left on Pasong Tamo (Don Chino Roces Ave., turn right on Dela Rosa and find yourself at the back of Makati Medical Center. Turn right on Export Drive, to reach the basement parking.
If you find yourself on EDSA, Metro Manila’s main highway, turn left on Pasay Road (also known and marked as Antonio S. Arnaiz Avenue), follow the road as it curves right past five intersections, (Ponce or Theater Drive, South Drive, Makati Drive, San Lorenzo Drive, Paseo de Roxas. Turn right on Amorsolo Street. Makati Medical Center stands on this street, but you have to go past one intersection on the right (APMC), one on the left (V.A. Rufino), and you get to the next intersection (Dela Rosa), you will be facing the hospital. Drive across the intersection to the hospital’s basement parking entrance on Export Drive.
To get to Makati Medical Center from Las Piñas, Paranaque, Alabang, and other parts south of Makati, get on EDSA from the South Luzon Expressway, and follow the directions above, from EDSA.
From North Luzon Expressway, turn right to get into EDSA. Drive past major intersections (Roosevelt, North Avenue, Quezon Avenue, Timog Avenue, Kamias Road, Aurora Boulevard, Ortigas, Shaw Boulevard, Boni and JP Rizal Avenues. Turn left on Buendia Avenue. This street is also named Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue.
From any part north of Makati, get yourself into EDSA from any of the major intersections mentioned above, drive south until you reach the intersection with Buendia.
Drive past the major intersections of Paseo de Roxas and Makati Avenue. Cross the intersection with Ayala Avenue, and make a right turn after the Makati Central Post Office building, the only 1-story structure you will see on your right. You will come out at Malugay Street, at the back of the post office, but immediately turn right again to circle this post office building and you will find yourself facing Ayala Avenue, on the intersection of Buendia. Cross Buendia. On the first intersection, Export Drive, turn right. You will be facing the Makati Med main entrance.
To get to Makati Medical Center from Pasig, Taguig, and other parts east of Makati, the most fool-proof way to find your way to the hospital is to get on the C-5, traveling south. Turn right on Buendia, also known as Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue. Drive past the major intersections of Paseo de Roxas and Makati Avenue. Cross the intersection with Ayala Avenue, and make a right turn after the Makati Central Post Office building, the only 1-story structure you will see on your right. You will come out at Malugay Street, at the back of the post office, but immediately turn right again to circle this post office building and you will find yourself facing Ayala Avenue, on the intersection of Buendia. There are many ways to get to Makati Medical Center from Manila’s many sidestreets, but probably the best way is to get to Quirino Avenue, and from there into the South Superhighway, driving south. Turn left on the Skyway, then left again on Amorsolo Street. This is the street on which Makati Medical Center stands. You have to go past one intersection on the right (APMC Street), one on the left (V.A. Rufino Street), to get to the next intersection (Dela Rosa Street), where you will be facing the hospital itself.
